Cesar A. Ramos came to the United States in 1983 to work as a Civil Engineer. Shortly after, he founded Austral Construction in 1989 and has been in business ever since. Austral Construction has had major involvement in government projects from early on, handling an excess of five hundred million dollars in contracts to date. Some major contracts include:
